The SCB Oceania Policy Working Group was established to provide a forum for members to engage in environmental and conservation policy across our region.
The aims of the SCBO Policy Working Group are to:
Provide information and resources to give members the opportunity to learn how better to engage and influence environmental policy
Develop networks of conservation practitioners and policymakers across the region to share ideas and experiences
Provide members with the latest on environmental policy development and research into environmental policy
Develop position papers on behalf of SCB-O, on relevant issues of policy, including in response to consultation requests
Given the diversity of social, political and policy environments, we aim to ensure broad representation from across the region, and from across the research, practitioner and policy areas of nature conservation.
